Home Our Purpose Salvation Worship Missions Sunday School Youth Group Men's Group Women's Group Choir Stephen Ministry Pastors Page Newsletter Calendar Kid's Club Listen to Sermons Links Email Us -- Worship     ---      Our worship service is at 10:00AM each Sunday morning.  Our worship service is tradional/blended.  We have a great choir and special music groups that sing from time to time.  Pastor Mike Townsley usually teaches through a book in the Bible, but has special sermon series or topical sermons periodicly.   Nursery and Children's      We have adult supervised nursery available every Sunday during worship and children's church on every Sunday except the 1st Sunday of the month. It is up to the parents if they wish to send their children to children's church or nursery, and of course the parents may accompany their children to Children's church or nursery.  Children's church is for ages K-4th grade.  Nursury is for infants and preschoolers. Communion      Usually the first Sunday of the month is Communion Sunday.  Our communion is open communion, which means you do not have to be a member of our church to receive communion.  All who are seeking God with repentant hearts are welcome to recieve communion.  It is up to parents to decide when their children are old enough to take communion. Pastor Mike has a membership class usually 2 times per year.  If you would like to join Clover Ridge UMC, please let him know and watch the newsletters and bulletins for announcements of the next membership class. Baptism Contact Pastor Mike if you would like to be baptized and for your infant or children baptisms.  Pastor Mike usually meets with the family before to explain the meaning of baptism. Confirmation Pastor Mike has confirmation classes about every two years.  The run for the school year and are for ages 7th grade and above. Weddings Pastor Mike does member and non member weddings.  He meets with couples for premarrital sessions before the wedding. So contact him as soon as you can before you wedding to set the date.  Wedding dates require a deposit to reserve the date on the church calendar.  The church fellowship hall is available to be used for weddings receptions or family events.  A rental donation is asked and it is on a first come basis.  We do not allow alcholic beverages on the church property or in the church building.  Our church sanctuary can seat about 250 with chairs set up and our fellowship hall can seat around 180.   Our Sanctuary at Christmas Time click on picture for larger view Got questions about our church?
